Class Description: This is a 40 minute Pilates class using heavy weights. We'll start seated on the mat with gentle rollbacks to warm up the body and create length. We’ll activate the core with focused ab work and weighted dead bugs, then build strength with side planks. Next, we fire up the glutes with a targeted booty combo and lunges, followed by a sidelying series to sculpt the lower body. The class finishes with a set of arm exercises to leave you feeling strong from head to toe.

Meet the Instructor: Laura Wilson is the founder of Natural Pilates, a Pilates studio in California and NY. Natural Pilates offers an athletic approach to classical Pilates choreography. NP attention to detail and focus on form coupled with level-appropriate resistance will bring your muscles for a full-body burn creating strength. The class programming style and the intention in movement will increase body awareness.
