Class Description: Welcome to a 20 minute full body pilates-inspired workout with Karen Medina. This class will be shorter than the standard 30 minute class, mixing in an arm workout to each full body exercise. You'll start with a quick two minute stretch, and then jump right into a standing legs & arm series (think leg lifts, bicep curls, squats), abs with bicep curls and triceps, a sidelying thigh series, and a kneeling tricep workout.

Meet the Instructor: A certified Pilates and barre instructor based in Toronto, Karen (@karenmedinapilates) loves combining elements from both disciplines to create a movement experience that leaves you feeling toned and lengthened. She loves movement that focuses on sculpting lean, toned muscle definition with small low impact movement and high repetition. Most importantly, she believes movement should leave you in a positive, rejuvenated healthy state. Karen offers private training and group fitness, and is also an instructor at Equinox.
